Welcome to the second issue of b.link – this time featuring the concept of “universal”. Because it’s worthwhile to look at things from more than one side. And because it makes sense to develop furniture that is flexible in every direction.
We will be presenting products that are particularly versatile. For example because they are available in so many standard versions – like fox: thanks to its choice of forms, materials and colors, it offers the incredible amount of 1,854,294 versions. We’ll also show you how many faces a chair can have, depending on where you put it and how you dress it up: with photo series turning the chair into a model. And we’ll report about product families like milano that are able to meet the requirements of different areas of application thanks to their different versions – while keeping their consistent design character.
By the way: “universal” is also a Brunner leitmotif. We want to develop tables and chairs that offer universal solutions. And that stay so flexible at the same time that individualization becomes the standard. Why we do this is explained among other things in the article “The Long Tail: Long Live the Niche Market!”
You can look forward to this and many more articles: Just one click – and you’re right there!
Wishing you universal entertainment with b.link 2,
Yours
